What makes a home a good fit for solar
Roof, shading, usage, location, and other factors that affect whether solar makes sense.
Roof condition matters. If a roof is at end of life, replacing or repairing it before solar is often the smarter sequence.
Shading and orientation matter. South- and west-facing roofs with limited shade typically perform best, but many other configurations still work well.
Your electricity usage and utility rates matter. Homes with higher usage and higher rates often see the strongest savings.
